Vernon Team Comes Oh So Close

A Vernon team came up one win short in a bid to get the final berth for the BC Men’s Curling Championship.

Victoria’s Jason Montgomery defeated Mark Longworth’s quartette 9-6 Sunday to win a 7 team event at the Lillooet Curling Club.

Rounding out the winning foursome were Cameron de Jong, Miles Craig and Will Duggan.

Other members of Team Longworth were Michael Longworth, Rob Nobert, John Slattery.
