Big Win for Vipers After Break

Jan 5, 2019 | 7:49 AM

In BCHL play the Vernon Vipers came out hard after the Christmas break, defeating the West Kelowna Warriors 4-3.
Brendon Kim would score 2 on the night good enough for First Star. Josh Latta went 1 and 1 earning Second Star.

The Vipers were up 3 goals early into the third and held off a 2-goal third period rally by the Warriors, pulling their goaltender in the dying minutes of the game.

Merritt is in town tonight to meet the Vipers.  If you can`t attend the game we`ll have Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Vernon Vipers play by play with Graham Turnbull beginning at 5:45

Tonight in the KIJHL the North Okanagan Knights travel to 100 Mile House.

In the WHL last night the Kelowna Rockets lost to Prince George Cougars 2-1 in a shoot out at home.  Rockets goalie James Porter got First Star in the loss stopping 27 of 28 shots.

Tonight the Rockets are in Kamloops.
