Russian Junior Stars At Kal Tire Place

Interest is building for the 2019 World Junior Hockey Championship in Vancouver and Victoria — and Vernon will be a key training site for one of the teams.

Team Russia is holding its training camp at Vernon’s Kal Tire Place today until Saturday which has generated interest from local hockey fans.

They’ll be on ice from 5:15 to 6:45 tonight in the main arena, and from 10:30 to 11:30 Tuesday morning.

Here is the compete list of practice times for the Russian team, courtesy of Kal Tire Place.
