Vernon mayoral candidates to answer questions at an all-candidates forum

Vernon’s mayoral candidates will answer a series of questions about their goals for the city at an all-candidates forum next month.

The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce will hold the event at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre on Oct. 8.

The event will see the four mayoral candidates give opening statements, answer five questions, then provide closing statements.

The non-partisan forum will be moderated by Sonja Harness, Executive Director for the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce, who will carefully monitor time and ensure all candidates have a chance to answer the questions.
