‘Compassion with accountability’: Kelowna council candidate

Listen. Care. Act.

That’s the slogan for Crystal Dougan, one of the many candidates running in the Kelowna council election next month.

Dougan said for 25 years, she’s had the privilege of serving people in Kelowna—as a social worker, a small-business owner, and an active member of our community.

She said her approach to city governance would be simple: “Compassion with accountability, practical solutions, and decisions that put people and community first.”
