An Enderby Councillor is looking to serve a second term to tackle the issues facing the population.

Sarah Yerhoff announced she will run to retain her seat in the fall municipal election.

Yerhoff, first elected in 2022, said in a release she cares deeply about the community where she has spent her whole life and wants to continue contributing to Enderby’s future.

“Serving on Council has given me the opportunity to learn more about the challenges and opportunities facing our community, while working alongside residents, local organizations, businesses, and community partners,” the incumbent councillor stated.

“My focus moving forward includes accessibility and reducing barriers, affordability, citizen engagement, public transportation, and balanced decision-making that reflects the needs of the whole community. I believe Enderby is strongest when residents feel informed, included, and connected to the decisions shaping our town.”

Votes will be cast in the local general election Oct. 17.
