Kelowna ready to help next wave of council candidates

Thinking about running for Kelowna City Council?

The city is hosting free information sessions next Wednesday and the Wednesday thereafter at 6 p.m. at City Hall and online.

City staff will explain the role of council, election timelines, time commitments and the nomination process, followed by a question-and-answer session.

Kelowna’s municipal election is October 17th, with candidate nominations open September 1st to the 11th.

Advance voting beginning October 7th.
