Progress being made on Kal Tire Place upgrades

Vernon’s arena is getting some upgrades.

A city staff report said a new condenser for Kal Tire Place had been delivered, and would be installed in the coming weeks.

The report said the new machine should be connected to the ice plant and operational by the end of July, ahead of scheduled ice bookings.

Meanwhile, progress was also being made on renewing the flat sections of the arena’s roof.
