Road work to close parts of Gordon Drive and Lexington Drive in Kelowna

Drivers in Kelowna should expect delays and detours as paving work gets underway on parts of Gordon Drive and Lexington Drive.

The work runs from July 19 to July 29, weather permitting, as part of the city’s road renewal program.

Gordon Drive, between Cook Road and Lexington Drive, will be reduced to single lane traffic during the day from July 19 to July 21. The road will close overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., with detours in place through Cook Road, Lakeshore Road and Lexington Drive.

From July 21 to July 29, Lexington Drive between Lakeshore Road and Gordon Drive will be closed, with access limited to local residents.
