COEDC launches refreshed Business Resource Hub

The Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission (COEDC) has launched a refreshed online Business Resource Hub aimed at making it easier for local entrepreneurs and companies to access support services in one centralized location.

The platform brings together business programs, services and organizations from across the region into a single digital directory designed to help businesses start, grow and scale. At launch, the hub features roughly 250 listings, including chambers of commerce, Community Futures offices and other regional partners.

The new system is powered by AI-enabled tools that allow users to search and filter resources by categories such as starting a business, financing, exporting, Indigenous business supports, networking and emergency preparedness. The platform also updates listings regularly and tracks usage data to help identify which services are most in demand.

Officials with the Central Okanagan Economic Development Commission said the goal is to simplify access to support services, speed up connections for business owners and strengthen regional economic resilience. Manager Krista Mallory said the hub replaces information that was previously spread across multiple sources with one streamlined system.
