Enactus Okanagan College crowned national champion
Enactus Okanagan College has been named the 2026 Enactus Canada National Champion after competing against more than 45 post-secondary schools at the national exposition in Montreal.
The win was led by Paper Trail, a student project that turns discarded textbooks into eco-friendly fire bricks made from compressed paper, beeswax, and sawdust.
The team will now represent Canada at the Enactus World Cup in São Paulo, Brazil this November.
“This recognition means so much because Paper Trail has always been bigger than just one person,” said co-founder Luke Howe in a media release.
