A subsurface investigation and monitoring project will disrupt traffic through Enderby.

The city stated the work would be done between April 20 and May 1, excluding weekends, and would cause the parking lot north of city hall to be closed. The smaller lot to the east would remain open during the work.

The project would also require intermittent closures of Mill Avenue between Belvedere and George Streets, and would see traffic control measures in place on Highway 97A.

The city stated Mill Avenue would remain accessible for emergency responders and other essential services like garbage and recycling vehicles and school buses during the work period.

A detour will be in place via Hubert and Knight Avenues while the work is underway.

The city urged motorists to obey all traffic control measures and be cautious of workers and equipment when travelling through construction zones.
