Good Food Box Matching Donations
Local fundraiser launched to provide nutritious meals to people in need

A fundraising initiative has been launched to help feed people in need.
As part of SilverStar’s Christmas Light Up event, the Mountain Resort has partnered with Community Foundation North Okanagan (CFNO)to run a Good Food Box donation matching initiative.
Throughout the month of December, every dollar donated to the Good Food Box will be tripled, as the SilverStar Play Forever Fund and the CFNO’s Galbraith Foundation will provide matching contributions.
The Good Food Box program is a non-profit initiative aimed at feeding people in need in the North Okanagan. For every $150 donated, the program is able to provide six months of food for a family, and $300 can feed a family for a year.
