Closure needed for Vernon road projects

Two separate road construction projects will require the temporary closure of 27A Avenue starting Friday (Nov. 3)

Starting as early as 7:30 a.m., a section of 27A Avenue between 28th Avenue and Highway 6 will be open for local traffic only, while crews complete line painting and sign installation on the 28th Avenue reconstruction project.

In addition, 27A Avenue will remain closed next week, while crews upgrade sewer infrastructure. Work is expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m., November 10.

Detours will remain available on 29th and 30th Avenues.
