Tickets for 2nd annual Kal Bowl go on sale this week

It could be the hottest ticket in town.

Tickets for the second annual Kal Tire Kalamalka Bowl will go on sale Thursday, June 1 through eventbrite at kalbowl.com.

The University of British Columbia Thunderbirds will be defending their 2022 title against the University of Alberta Golden Bears on the evening of Aug. 23 at the Greater Vernon Athletics Park.

The exhibition game will feature two of the best university football teams in Canada.

VSS 2023 graduates Braden Khun Khun of UBC and Joe Murphy with the Golden Bears are among the local products that will participate in the game.

Bleacher seating is $30 a ticket and individual numbered seats will be sold in the bleachers. These seats are limited and sold quickly last year. People who want bleacher seating are encouraged to purchase early.

General admission is $12 a ticket. This ticket allows access to the game without seating.

The Kalamalka Bowl Society thanks the many sponsors that have already stepped up to support this second annual event including the title sponsor Kal Tire and beer tent sponsor Okanagan Spring Brewery.
