Directors sworn in for new Regional District of North Okanagan board

The Regional District of North Okanagan (RDNO) held its inaugural meeting to swear in its new board of directors on Wednesday (Nov. 9).

Presided over by Judge Jeremy Guild, the political reps took the Oath of Office at the meeting.

Kevin Acton, Mayor of Lumby, was returned to his role as board chair, with Amanda Shatzko, Director of Electoral Area C, back as the vice-chair.

Also amongst the board members are:

  • Bob Fleming (Area B Director)
  • Rick Fairbairn (Area D Director)
  • Jim Johnson (Area E Director)
  • Allysa Hopkins (Area F Director)
  • Shirley Fowler (Councillor for the City of Armstrong)
  • Ruth Hoyte (Mayor for the District of Coldstream)
  • Brian Schreiner (Councillor for the City of Enderby)
  • Christine Fraser (Mayor for the Township of Spallumcheen)
  • Victor Cumming (Mayor for the City of Vernon)
  • Kelly Fehr (Councillor for the City of Vernon)
  • Kari Gares (Councillor for the City of Vernon)
  • Brian Quiring (Councillor for the City of Vernon)

The next regular RDNO board meeting will be held on December 14.
