Vernon’s RV sani-dump closes Monday

Vernon’s temporary recreation vehicle sani-dump station will close for the season Monday, Oct. 24.

The two waste-dumping and water-filling stations, located behind Kal Tire Place on the former Kin Race Track lands, will be accessible until the closure.

Approximately eight RV’s can be accommodated at the site at a time.

Back in July, Vernon council voted to construct a new RV sani-dump on Tronson Road across from the city’s airport.

Council approved spending $175,000 to construct the facility on a city-owned site at 6401 Tronson Road which will replace the temporary sani-station at Kin Race Track on 43rd Ave.

At that time, an opening was projected for the spring of 2023.
