Project will create two-month closure on Tronson Road

A project to install new sewer pipe will close part of Tronson Road in Vernon’s Okanagan Landing for two months.

The city says starting Monday, March 7, Tronson Road will be closed to through traffic between Lakeshore Road and Okanagan Landing Road. Traffic will be detoured on Lakeshore Road, but local traffic will still be able to access residences and businesses in the area.

Drivers are asked to follow the signage and directions from traffic control personnel.

“Every effort will be made to minimize disruptions but minor travel delays should be expected. The city appreciates everyone’s patience while this project is being completed,” a city news release stated.
