Two COVID-19 deaths recorded in Interior, active cases surpass 6,000
COVID-19 continues to have an impact on the Interior.
Two deaths linked to the virus were recorded in the Interior Thursday, bringing the region’s COVID-19 death toll to 309.
The deaths were part of 15 recorded across the province. To date, 2,520 British Columbians have died due to COVID-19.
The Interior also had active cases rise to 6,067, as 563 new cases were confirmed in the region.
