Highway crash near Enderby causes injuries

The highway north of Enderby was closed for about one hour after a two-vehicle crash that injured several people.

Police were called to Highway 97A near Fenton Road Monday, Dec. 13, just before 3:00 p.m.

“The initial investigation has determined a southbound Toyota passenger vehicle crossed the centre line of the highway and collided with a northbound Audi sport utility vehicle,” said Constable Chris Terleski, media relations officer. “The driver and passenger of each vehicle were transported by BC Ambulance service for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.”

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
