Mobile vaccine clinic stops in Enderby July 5 & 6

Anyone looking to get a COVID-19 vaccine in the Enderby can visit the city’s curling club on Monday or Tuesday.

Interior Health’s mobile immunization clinic will travel to Enderby on July 5 and 6 to offer vaccinations for anyone who has not yet received their first dose.

No advance appointments are needed. People who live or work in the Enderby area will be able to walk-up, register and receive a vaccine.

Location: Enderby & District Curling Club, 1605 Kate Street (Indoors)

Time: Monday July 5 and Tuesday July 6 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Who: People in the Enderby area who are born in 2009 or earlier, and who have not yet received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Heat Safety

This clinic will be indoors, however, it is important that everyone attending the drop-in clinic is prepared for extreme heat. Please check here to review who is most at risk, symptoms to watch for and what steps to take to avoid heat related illness.

Everyone should consider carrying water, wear sunscreen, light clothes and carry a sun shade/umbrella to provide protection from the sun if needed. Anyone with heart or lung conditions should identify themselves to staff at the vaccine site.

How to get your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine

2. Register online by visiting the provincial website at www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca/, call 1-833-838-2323, or visit Service BC office listed here, and then book an appointment.

How to get your second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine

To get your second dose, you need to book an appointment. If you registered with the Get Vaccinated provincial registration system for your first dose, you will be notified to book an appointment for your second dose approximately 8 weeks from the date you received your first dose.

If you received your first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine before the provincial registration system was available (April 6), register for your second dose at www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca.
