Vernon restaurant joins the movement to plexiglass

Wings Vernon has installed plexiglass in order to enhance guest comfort and safety.
“Wings Vernon was late to the party in adding the screening versus leaving every second booth closed,” stated a news release from The Pretium Group, the Vernon-based ownership group of the business.
“We have had strict policy and have followed all the guidelines, but it closed half of our booths, and they are very popular,” said Willy Reiten, head of building management for The Pretium Group. “In addition, they have been busy at Wings, and even with the large size, we were getting line ups so I had to think of a solution. We did it up nicely and now guests are happier.”
The company said the move highlights that they are in it for the long haul, and businesses will need to come up with long-term solutions that will enhance the business, make it safe for their customers but still maintain a high level of ambience.
