Search and Rescue members in park
Aug 9, 2020 | 8:15 AM
Vernon Search and Rescue (VSAR) will be in Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park today, but not for an emergency.
The volunteer-driven search group will be working alongside staff from B.C. Parks.
“We will be assessing and marking the new bypass trail around the landslide site on the east side of the park. This trail will help us safely respond to emergencies in the area,” said a posting on the group’s Facebook page.
Vernon Matters has reached out to VSAR for more details on the site they mention in the posting.
