UPDATE: Missing Vernon resident located

UPDATE

RCMP have updated a missing persons case in Vernon.

Police say the 34-year-old woman reported missing Monday has been located, and she is safe and sound.

“Thanks to the media and public for your assistance,” said Cpl. Tania Finn.

Vernon RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing Vernon resident.

Marie Richard, 34, was last seen on July 18, 2020.

“Since Marie’s disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, however Marie remains missing,” said Const. Kelly Brett.

Description of Marie Richard:

  • Caucasian female
  • 34 years old
  • 5 ft 5 in (165 cm)
  • 134 lbs (61 kg)
  • Blonde hair
  • Green eyes
