Drug alert issued for Vernon

Interior Health has issued a warning to drug users in Vernon about purple fentanyl.

The agency says it is causing prolonged sedation and an overdose may not respond to the use of naloxone.

Interior Health says people should not use alone and drug testing can be done at Cammy LaFleur Street Outreach and Downtown MHSU and OPS.
