Marten BrewPub in Vernon is saluting B.C.’s favourite health official with a new creation.

The craft brewery has developed the Bonnie Henry Blonde Ale.

It is described as “crisp, light and refreshing, with very little aftertaste.”

Henry, the provincial health officer, has become a popular figurehead for her calm demeanor during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even the New York Times has written an article about B.C.’s top doctor.

Henry is so popular that people have made and sent her jewelry and painted her portrait and she has had a pair of pink John Fluevog shoes named after her.

The shoes sold out.
