City seeks comments on climate action plan

The City of Vernon is seeking feedback on the development of a climate action plan.

An online survey is available until July 24 at engagevernon.ca

The city is looking for comments on the top priorities, what’s important to residents, and where they could use help in actions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

In March, the city cancelled all in-person public engagement events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event cancellations impacted a variety of projects, including a series of community gatherings that were planned to collect input on the climate action plan.
