Connor Marritt added four assists as the Vipers took a 3-1 lead in the best of seven series before a crowd of 1,559 at Kal Tire Place.

The Wild took a 2-0 lead in the opening period, but the Vipers stormed back with four straight goals.

Vipers head coach Jason McKee says the line of Marritt, Holt and MacDonald dominated.

“They were phenomenal tonight. They carried the play, they were great defensively, good offensively, won races, finished checks, hard on their sticks. If you’re looking for a textbook playoff game — our group in general is doing that — but those three guys, they’re definitely leading the charge for us for sure,” said McKee.

Game 5 will be in Wenatchee Friday night, with game 6, if needed, Sunday afternoon at Kal Tire Place.

Elsewhere, the Penticton Vees edged the West Kelowna Warriors 5-4 on Carson Kosobud’s goal 2:22 into overtime, giving the Vees a 4-1 series victory.
