A two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon on Highway 97A in front of North Enderby Timber stalled highway traffic.
Enderby fire chief Cliff Vetter said at least one person was taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Shortly after 4 p.m., Vetter said tow trucks were at the scene and he expected the highway to be cleared soon.
Callers to Vernon Matters said highway traffic was backed up heading south into Enderby.
