Yogurt Store Robbed

RCMP are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect who was caught on video allegedly robbing a frozen yogurt outlet in Vernon.

“On August 13, 2017 at 5:41 pm, RCMP responded to a report of a robbery at the Peachwave Frozen Yogurt Store on 27th Street in Vernon,” says Cpl. Dan Moskaluk. “No weapon was revealed during the incident but the male would not show his left hand leaving the clerks to believe he had a weapon.”

Moskaluk says police were on scene within minutes but did not locate the suspect.

Mounties says the suspect was a Caucasian male who appeared to be in his late thirties. His clothing as observed in the photograph was a two toned jacket (grey/black) with a bright yellow zipper and jacket liner, grey sweat pants, with white and black runners.
