Leader Visits Salmon Arm

The new leader of the Conservative Party will be in Salmon Arm for an event Wednesday.

Andrew Scheer will take in a luncheon at Marine Peace Park, put on by the local Tory association.

The 38 year old opposition leader will also be announcing his shadow cabinet Wednesday which is expected to include Penticton area MP Dan Albas, according to CBC News.

“This is your opportunity to hear about Mr. Scheer’s vision for Canada, ask your questions and meet Andrew Scheer,” says Sue McCrae President of the local association.
