Update: Body Found In Lake
Update 11 am:
RCMP have identified the man found floating in Okanagan Lake in West Kelowna.
The body was discovered in the Casa Loma area Wednesday morning.
Police are not releasing his name but says the 49 year old was from Kelowna.
Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey says the death was not suspicious and the investigation has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service.

RCMP are investigating the discovery of a man’s body found floating in Okanagan Lake this morning.
It was found in the Casa Loma area of Lake View Heights in West Kelowna around 8:30 am.
Police say the investigation into the death is in the early stages as RCMP await the arrival of a coroner with the BC Coroners Service.
“The deceased has not yet been positively identified,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey. “The support of the local fire department and a trained dive team will likely be required for the safe recovery of the man’s body.”
