Evacuation Alert Lifted For Many In Lake Country

An evacuation alert put on dozens of properties in Lake Country last week has been lifted.

Many are on and around Bottom Wood Lake Road and through to Turtle Bay Court.

There were fears they could be in danger not just from Creeks but from a rising Wood Lake

Residents are being told that while they are no longer on alert, they may continue to experience increasing lake and ground water levels and should leave flood preparations in place.

The properties affected are:
