Update: Missing Man From Cherryville Found

RCMP in Lumby are thanking the public for helping to locate a missing Cherryville man.

Sixty-two year old Dave Riehl ha been located safe and sound.

An alert was issued Monday over concerns he hadn’t been seen in the community since early May.


RCMP in Lumby are asking for public assistance in locating a missing Cherryville man.

Sixty-two year old Dave Riehl was last seen in Cherryville May 4th.

He was later seen in Ponoka, Alberta May 9th, but was reported missing May 13th.

Riehl was driving a purple 1998 GMC Sierra pick-up truck with Alberta License plate GA884.

He’s described as being 5 foot 9, 184 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt.

His family says it is unusual for him to be out of contact for this long and there is concern for his health.
