Hey Peeps, Check It Out!

Time to have a “serious” discussion about Peeps. Do you like them. Do your kids like them? I’ll admit I’ve never been a fan of the taste of them but Peeps are certainly popular this time of year. This story came out this week.

Just in time for Easter we have a new Peeps eating record! Matt Stonie, who’s the world’s No. 2 ranked competitive eater, broke his own world record by downing 255 marshmallow Peeps in 5 minutes at the second-annual National Harbor World Peeps Eating Championship in Maryland. Stonie broke his previous record of 200 Peeps in 5 minutes.

 

Then there’s Maryland’s Carroll County Arts Councils annual PEEPshow. One of the entries is a Disney Princess “Belle” which was made out of 1,500 Peeps.
