Party Says Sayonara To Summer

A block party is planned as a send-off to the summer.

The Downtown Vernon Association will hold what it calls ‘Sayonara Summer’ Friday, September 14th from 4 to 7 pm the 3000 block of 31st street.

Events coordinator Dudley Coulter says it’s their way of saying thanks.

“This is our way of saying thank you to businesses and the residents of Greater Vernon for choosing downtown as their place to live, work and play,” says Coulter.
