Kelowna Apple Triathalon Cancelled for Sunday

This from the Kelowna Apple Triathalon Twitter page…”We are heartbroken to announce all of today’s races have been canceled. The air quality health index (AQHI) remains at very high levels”.

The smoke-filled skies which have not let up have cancelled today’s age group and elite races.  This on the heels of Saturday’s events being cancelled.

With the air quality health index stagnant at a 10+ or very high, the risk for competitors, volunteers as well as spectators’ health comes into play.
