Cadets Learn To Shoot

If you`re near the DND grounds in Vernon over the next few weeks and hear gunfire, it`s nothing to worry about.

The Vernon Cadet Training Centre  will be conducting blank ammunition firing at the parade square next to the sports fields until August 16th.

Intermittent rifle fire may be heard in the mornings from 9:00am to 11:00 am and evenings from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

It`s not a live fire exercise.
