Bylaws Moving To Parkade

Vernon’s bylaw department will be moving.

Council has agreed to relocate the unit to office space in the Parkade.

“The idea is that most of these street entrenched people are in that area, the downtown on the other side of the highway, so by having a presence starting out there in the morning, it just provides those uniforms on the streets that the task force was looking for,” says Mayor Akbal Mund

The move will cost the city 55-thousand dollars to create the office space in the Parkade.
