Wayne Dye’s jersey will be raised to the rafters at Kal Tire Place prior to the Vipers game against Trail tonight.
Dye — who passed away at age 35 in 1988 — was named Vernon’s athlete of the 20th Century.
A banner celebrating the 1956 Allan Cup winning Vernon Canadians will also be unveiled with four members of the team on hand: Odie Lowe, Tom Stecyk, Walt Trentini and Merv Bidoski.
