Fire Crews Called Out in Spallumcheen

The Armstrong Spallumcheen fire department has been on the scene of an incident on Larkin Cross Road in Spallumcheen this morning.

“We had a truck pull a hydro line down, and it’s lying on the ground, so we’ve got the road closed and BC Hydro is on the scene,” fire chief Ian Cummings told Kiss FM around 11:30 am.

Cummings says there was no fire from the incident.

“It was obviously a concern with the dry grass so we wet down the area, but nothing came of it.”
