Month Long Crackdown Starts In Vernon
Sep 1, 2017 | 10:29 AM
Today marks the start of the month long Distracted Drivers and Occupant Restraint Campaign by RCMP and other police forces in BC.
The campaign got an early start in Vernon with RCMP watching for violators at the top of the Highway 6- 27th Street exit this morning.
That’s one of the local Mounties favorite spots for holding enforcement.
Officers will particularly be watching for people without seat belts, and drivers using electronic devices.
