Golf tournament raised $85k for Children’s Hospital  

An inaugural charity golf tournament in Armstrong raised a lot of money for a good cause.

The Vienna Classic went at the Overlander Golf Course September 19 and raised $85,000 for the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation.

The tournament was held in the name of Vienna, a little girl who has sought treatment at the Children’s Hospital.

The event featured scramble play with a number of games and challenges at individual holes, as well as raffle draws, and live and silent auctions.
