Conservative candidate announced for Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream

An entrepreneur and high-ranking member of the Conservative Party of B.C. will run for the joint North-Central Okanagan riding seat.

Pavneet Singh aims to represent Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream in the snap provincial election.

Singh has lived in the Okanagan for 25 years and over that time he has launched and operated a number of businesses in the region.

He currently serves as the Vice-President of the Conservative Party of B.C. Party, and previously served as Director-at-Large.

Singh’s candidate profile website said he’s “a strong supporter of firefighters, first responders, and community organizations, and continues to contribute his time and resources to causes that strengthen the community he has called home for more than two decades.”

The Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream riding was last won by Tara Armstrong in 2024. She ran under the Conservative banner but left the party in March 2025 to sit as an independent until joining Dallas Brodie to form OneBC.

Tracy Grey, the former Member of Parliament for Kelowna-Lake Country, had announced she wanted to run for the B.C. Conservatives in this riding, but was not selected as the party’s candidate.
