Vernon “drug house” raided for second time in two months

A Vernon home that area residents refer to as a “drug house” has been raided for the second time in as many months as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.

At around 2:20 p.m. Monday, Vernon North Okanagan RCMP and the RCMP’s Southeast District Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a house in the 3900-block of 24th Avenue.

During the raid, “a quantity of suspected fentanyl and cocaine were seized, along with a firearm and cash.”

Nine people were in the house at the time of the search, and charges are pending further investigation.
