Longtime community and business leader in Kelowna council race

A longtime Kelowna community and business leader with more than 35 years of experience in accounting, finance, business advice and organizational leadership is part of the long list of candidates for Kelowna City Council.

Todd Sanderson said Kelowna is growing and changing, and decisions made by the next city council will shape affordability, mobility, safety and quality of life for years to come.

Sanderson said he’s running to bring experienced, independent and financially responsible leadership to City Hall—with a particular commitment to rebuilding transparency and public trust.

His commitment to Kelowna includes serving as: president of the Downtown Kelowna Association, president of the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce, founder and first president of the Uptown Rutland Business Association, a member of the City of Kelowna audit team for five years, and a member of numerous City of Kelowna committees.
