Shuswap properties remain on evacuation alert: Bradley Creek wildfire

There have been no changes overnight to the Evacuation Alerts issued Saturday in the Shuswap due to the Bradley Creek Wildfire.

The Shuswap Emergency Program activated its Emergency Operations Centre Saturday.

The Shuswap Emergency Program will be meeting with the BC Wildfire Service and other emergency officials this morning and will post more information as it becomes available.

An Evacuation Alert has been issued for approximately 217 addressed properties in these areas:

  • Properties along parts of Yankee Flats Road and Salmon River Road from Glenemma to the vicinity of Kaiser Road
  • Properties south of Highway 97 in the Sweetsbridge/Cedar Hill area as well as properties in parts of the Glenemma area
