The City of Kelowna will officially unveil its new Signature Sign on Friday inviting residents and visitors to celebrate the waterfront landmark at Stuart Park.

The unveiling ceremony will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. along the waterfront promenade near the Kelowna Yacht Club and will be led by Mayor and Council. The installation is positioned as a new gathering space designed to enhance the city’s waterfront experience.

According to the city, the illuminated Signature Sign is intended to reflect Kelowna’s identity while encouraging interaction, photography and community connection. The project also incorporates artistic and storytelling elements inspired by the city’s natural setting and cultural history.

“Kelowna’s Signature Sign is a gathering place that reflects the spirit, character and beauty of our community,” said Derek Edstrom, Divisional Director of Partnerships and Investments. “We invite residents and visitors to join us for the unveiling and be among the first to experience this new waterfront landmark.”
