Vernon mayor to discuss economic outlook at special event

Vernon’s mayor will participate in a conversation about the city and the region’s economic future.

Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce and Community Futures North Okanagan will co-host Vernon Forward: A Conversation with Mayor Victor Cumming.

It will see the mayor participate in a moderated discussion around Vernon’s immediate economic outlook, emerging growth opportunities, infrastructure priorities, strategic future directions, and other investments and initiatives that shape the local and regional economy.

“Our local business community is navigating a dynamic economic landscape, making direct communication between industry leaders and city leadership more important than ever,” Sonja Harkness, Executive Director of the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce, said.
