Construction to begin on Pleasant Valley Boulevard North improvements

Construction is set to begin soon on improvements to Pleasant Valley Boulevard North, marking the first phase of Armstrong’s downtown revitalization initiative.
Following a competitive bidding process, the City of Armstrong awarded the project to Chapman Industries Ltd., a local contractor specializing in road and highway construction.
A pre-construction meeting between the city and Chapman is scheduled for the week of March 16 to review the construction schedule, timelines and other project considerations. Site mobilization is expected to start near the end of March, with construction to follow shortly after.
The city will provide updates as work progresses, including construction schedules, traffic impacts and other important information. Updates will be shared through the city’s website, social media channels and direct communications with affected businesses.
